By now, you should have received all of the appropriate contract documents for employment or for work as an independent contractor. Make sure you get those signed and returned ASAP.
When it comes to actually receiving your pay, we use a company called Gusto which will send you payments automatically via direct deposit. It is important that you complete the signup process for Gusto as soon as you receive the invite, via your personal email. If you have not received this invite, please reach out to your hiring manager ASAP.
Email is simple at Pulley and works the exact same way as a personal Gmail account. While most of your communication with clients will be done through our ticketing system, you’ll be using gmail along with Slack for important internal communications, as well as the occasional client communications. If you’ve never used it before, please review the link below to get up to speed.
We use Google Drive to manage, store and access files, spreadsheets and documents (like this one). You will have access to a few of our shared folders that will include resources and templates to make your job easier. If you’ve never used Google Drive before, there are some helpful links below you will need to review to understand how it works.
For day to day tasks and meetings, we use Google Calendar to manage our schedules.
For all video conferencing and screen sharing sessions, we use Google Meet. Meet can be used for calls with clients and team meetings with multiple members present and sharing of multiple screens. It is important that you know how to host, invite to and attend these meetings.
At Pulley we use the Google Apps suite to manage Email, Drive for documents, spreadsheets and access to other important files, Calendar for schedules and company-wide meetings and Meet for video conferencing. Once you enter the on-boarding process, you’ll be assigned a new email with access to everything that the G Suite offers.
